View Full Version : Centre console lights in Auto
Anybody else notice whether their lights for the PRND321 selector are dim? I thought mine were brighter when I bought the car and now I can hardly even read the letters. Not that it's a problem cause the dash screen tells me what gear I'm in, but I still like to have everything running right on my car.
Before anybody suggests, I've already checked my dash light brightness and that hasn't changed it.
Cheers

Phil you're a fussy bugger.
I dont know if its the same but my VS used to get a bit of crap build up in the plastic slider. Don;t ask me how it got there but I did have to give it a clean every couple of months.
I know :hide:
Thing is, I looked at the plastic slider in the daylight, and it looks clean as a whistle, and I swear the lights are half as bright as they were two days ago. *scratches head*

Shot in the dark mate  no pun intended. Perhaps there are 2 bulbs in there and 1 is burnt out?

There is only one bulb, they have a tendancy to get a chrome like coating on the inside of the bulb. Bang a new one in it and job done.....:smilesandbanana:
