Hey everyone just bought a new dash for my VZ off Holden due to a faulty fuel gauge in old one. Didnt really want to pay the $200 for fitment and was wondering if anyone knows how to program the dash to the car. Can this only be done with a tec 2? and also if using a tec 2 do you have to program the Kms in yourself or is it picked up elsewhere? Eg body control module?

Tech2 is required to setup a new cluster.

The Km are programed in using tech2. This must be done before you clock up 100km on it or tech2 will not be able to change it.

I think some changes can be made with tuning software.

$200 is a little steep I would do a ring around.
