Depends on how much you'd like to be beaten up?

It's not a Hyundai.

i had red parkers in my road bike and the police pulled me over and told me it was illegal to have red or blue lights on the bike.........he was pretty cool about it, he just let me go and told me to get them changed.

i had blue parkers and 4 blue LEDs in the LED brakelight in the spoiler in my VS. Police defected me on the tail light but didn't say anything about the parkers, i dont think he noticed thou. Said you can only have red and white lights unless your an emergency vehicle.

It's one of those yes you can, no you cant situations.

I know some people in Vicroads (Not bean-counters either) (RTA equivelant in Victoria) and there is actually no specific law against it. There are snippets which says lights should not be anything but amber / white for the front headlights and red for rear taillights.

(It still has not been updated for the like of blue HID's in use in say Audi's, BMW's etc)

But hey, its one of those things that police do not like at all and will fine you for on the spot.

I challenged one cop on it once *politely* and he pretty much said he didnt care and heres the fine because he personally hated them and if i wanted to prove him wrong find where i could have them in legislation.. then took a photo of how dark my tint was and that he couldnt 'see' my P Plate and said that issue would come up if i didnt just pay the infringement and get rid of the parkers.

In short..

Dont do it, its more trouble than its worth.

Firstly, why put them in..looks stupid IMO.
Secondly, illegal, as they are not ADR compliant.
Cheers
