Ve Going Into Safety Mode??

I was taking off off today and i flogged it up the street in first or 2nd gear i think and before it got to redline and went on the dashboard and said safety mode or something and the car slowed down and ran like crap i had to disconnect the battery then it was fine.

can this be turned off? first time it happend ive givin my car alot before and it didnt do that?

ive had this happen,took off hard for 200 mts then had to stop suddenly,went into safty mode ,couldnt go above 60k/h,same as you disc batt, then it was fine,
my tuner was then able to stop it from happening,
(i did have it happen 2 other times and i worked out that if i turned of esp it never did it,) now it makes no difference as its been fixed.
not a good look when your 500 klm from home....

its all in the tune,

give your tuner a call and they will be able to fix it for you
