hi i have recemtly purchased a ve ss commodore and i am looking to get some more hp out of it i am hoping to get around 400-500 kw at the wheels but i want it to be pretty reliable and be able to handle the thrashing ill will be giving it

For a reliable & durable 400+rwkw, there are a few options available.
What's your budget?
Is this your daily drive, or a weekend toy?
Manual or auto?
Are there any mods done to the car so far?

Not trying to jump into the thread in the wrong place, but i an interested in a system too.

My budget isn't huge
It's a daily drive that I take to the drags whenever they are on here in Alice

For a stock engine & auto, our HH112 kit would be great value. It would be unrealistic to expect 400rwkw from a stock engine on pump fuel, but certainly in excess of 300rwkw.
The current retail price of an intercooled HH112 into a VT->VY is $7200->$7500 (vehicle-model dependent).

I think I would be ok with less than 400rwkw for my daily driver/once in a while drag car.
What would be your cost estimate for taking my VE from stock to completed?

(I didnt realise yours is a VE) ...

The HH112 special does not extend to VE's, so an intercooled 112 RRP's for $9990 with typical drive-in -> drive-out for $11-12k.

A VE gets the greatest punch from a HH122 (RRP $10,990).
A typical drive-in -> drive-out would be $12-13k for all the bells & whistles.
