Couldn't find anything when searching and have something that I've noticed more since changing the bonnet strip to black. The gap between my bonnet and the front bumper on either side of the HSV "nostrils" seems to have gotten bigger. I think the black bonnet strip means it stands out more as was likely the same beforehand but wanted to know other's opinons/experiences.

I can fit my little finger in the gap of mine. Doesn't bother me really, the things still secure etc but I know the new cars in the showroom have a gap a lot smaller. Is it sagging after a while? Is it adjustable?

Cheers

Yep

found screws on mine loose. Could move whole assembly up when lifted from bottom of spoiler. Lifted it up and then tightened all screws etc.

On both sides of the bonnet strip, l had to shave off the end bits for some reason as they were actually sitting on the bumper, pop your bonnet and check your paint for marks on both sides.

See here in post 10 for how it is fitted, l know it's an SS but fitment it identical

Where are all the screws? I can see the two bolts on top with the bonnet open as well as the plastic plugs but are the any down lower? Under the car etc?

Be sure to check all the attaching hardware first.

The gap under the headlights looks good. It the gap at the bonnet to fender ok as well?

If the fender to bonnet is off then I would suggest using the bonnet height adjustment stops.
I have found GM front ends alignment shins from 60's & 70's vintage cars and trucks to be very helpful as alignment spacers. The shims are made of steel and are around 4cm x 4cm with a U shaped cut out in the center.
It may be possible to use these shims under the frontend bar mask to raise these are in question.

Of course ya want to use the small ones.

Well HSV came to the party.

Bar arrives at my dealer tomorrow. Will get painted and fitted next week! :D

They still haven't fixed the underlying problem though - which is not enough mount points. I'm hopeful that since it's no longer an every day car, that sag on the new one will be minimal.

I removed the plastic plugs in the undertray, I then nutserted the holes, and fitted 6mm stainless muchroom headed bolts and washers to hold the under tray up, and this fixed the sag problem my ve had front bumper to bonnet, as well as a clunk when I braked/took off hard, as the under tray would slide back and forth on the plastic clips.
