I know the Calais gets driving lights and leather and perhaps a chrome strip or two, but other than that I can't spot too much difference, they seem similar on the inside with the same instruments and centre console climate air etc. They are both very nice but since the Berlina is already so well equipped I am wondering what else the Calais has to differentiate it from Berlina?

Higer spec LVL3 dash with additional functions in the Calais V's LVL2 in the Berlina.

Calais should have "ashen grey" dials as opposed to black on "Berlina.

"Velour" trim on doors, under dash and centre console on Calais.

Some VYII Berlina will have driving lights.

Suspension on Calais was FE1.5 or something along those lines and presumably the same for Berlina unless specced differently.

There's probably more differences than that and they're pretty minor but it's a start.

Door trim material - Alacantra, a sort of fake suede. Paint - Calais got a better clearcoat that is shinier and more protective from birdsh!t and crap. More interior knicknacks, auto-off lights etc. As someone saiid, pushbutton dualzone, side airbags standard. Probably better sound suppression. Better stereo/subs standard

Full 8 way front seats with memory, bigger alloys, standard "luxury" floor mats, much better trim treatment, memory keys, and luxury level BCM with considerably more programmable features, standard reverse park sensors.
Series 2 takes it much further with it's "sports luxury" upgrade. 17 inch wheels, FE1.5 semi-sports suspension, sportier bar facias, and more Monaro like interior trim styling, plus better looking tinted taillights. Berlina stayed much the same series 1 and 2, bar the addition of foglights standard and the changes all series 2's gained.
