if removing the throttle body from the manifold to clean it does the gasket need to be replaced????

No. There is a rubber o'ring type (reusable) seal.

Just to clarify, it's always good policy to replace any gasket or o-ring. Inspect it well, and determine if it has compressed fully before re-using. If it has, it may not seal properly again, allowing the leaky seal to suck in dirty air. If the gasket/seal springs out proud from the throttle body flange, you should be fine, as it will still compress once bolted up.

ok thanks for that davo i will check it out, also undoing and cleaning the parts on the throttle body, im guessing its the TB motor and something else them being electrical can i still take them off and give them a good clean with throttle body cleaner???

It shouldnt need cleaning unless its been sitting in a shed for years,its only air going through it and if it is dirty theres something wrong with your filter or intake.

ohh righto then, i have taken the whole throttle body off anyways to check it just thought id give everything a through clean

Many brands of cars get a slightly dirty throttle body! The PCV system venting back into the throttle body is the usual cause.
It is the number one cause of off idle flat spots and idle issues in many cases.
They should have a clean roughly every couple of years.

Tap a cheap inline fuel filter into the hose that goes from the rocker
cover to the t/b and you wont have these issues again :)
