My girlfriends vz is a 06. 90000km

Just had new diff installed after 6 months of trying to get it fixed.
Its like trying to dig a hole with a sieve.
Had it serviced. 3 weeks later overheats.
2 litres of water to top it up again. Left it running in driveway at 3000rpm to heat it, nothing. Not a problem.
Anyway, after 2 weeks it gets warm again. So i go outside have a look.
Bloody water pump is cactus.

Whats the go. Would roadside assist organise a tow to the dealer at the expense of Holden.

I just dont want to have to pay it. Then make another 800 calls and have them turn around and say. Its on order, we`ll fix it when the part arrives.
Its still a new car. These items shouldn't need replacing.
Has anyone else had simular experiences with them.

If you do a search, you will find probably at least a quarter of the forums members have replaced a water pump. It might be only two and a bit years old, but it's clocked a lot of km's up in that time.
If you want a definitive answer on the tow, you should ask Roadside Assist, or else read the fine print supplied with the car when it was bought. Roadside Assist will normally tow a car that can't be repaired on the roadside, IF it's not possible to drive it to a dealer. However, if it's taken two weeks to overheat again from the first time, that usually indicates the car is still quite driveable!
