Hello everyone,
I guess this is the spot to brag about our motorcycles.
I have a 07 Buell firebolt, xb12r. It has a full race kit installed, and is without a doubt the best bike i have ever owned. I have had a tlr1000, and my last bike was an 05 vtr1000 which was a great bike but would take the buell over them anyday. Lots of character, torque, handles unbelievably. Not much legs left over 220- 230 but it gets there quick.
See you on the road!

Hey guys,
My buell is the 1204cc harley engine, not the rotax.
I test rode it at frasiers with all intention of getting one but didnt like it at all. Didnt feel like a big v-twin, more like a sv650 engine. But it has heaps of grunt, dont get me wrong. I just didnt feel at home on it as i do in my buell. not a big fan of the front, to wide for the buells frame. and the scoops are quiet ugly. I will download some pics of my bike as soon as i figure out how. i have them stored on my computer but cant attach them. it asks for a url address? help

Sign up to Photobucket and load the photo's to that site, then copy the URL into the page on this site you are loading them to.

The Buell is a great bike, I have had all types, jap 4's, jap inline and v twins but I have never owned a Buell. Have ridden a few and let me tell you if I can ever get back on a bike I will be buying a Buell. Not good for what I used to do (Heaps of long trips), they get a bit uncomfy after a while I find, but for the weekend squirt they are fantastic.

Now lets see those pics.

That bike is a gem butcher... congrats.

I bet the Sunday cruise through the National Park is a blast on the beautifully balanced Buell !

Hmmm, I should get motivated and finished the resto on my GPZ900R.
Anyone else up for a ride ? :):)

My old tl had yoshi rs3 mufflers which sounded fantastic, but the buell note is on its own. It doesnt really sound like a harley or the TL. It is very lumpy and loud, to the point that my blinkers are constantly shaking and my mirrors tend to move on there own. You definatly know your on a big v-twin thats for sure. Doesnt have as much legs as the TL, but tourque, handling, balance all makes up for that. its a weapon from 0-220 though!:vpo:
