Hey dude
i have a vy ss with 20's,
i rolled all four gaurds and no rubbing issues. I have adjustable coilovers in the front so i just wound them up to the right hight where there was no rubbing. The rear i have dumped so when u have people in the back it will rub
good luck dude

It is going to come down to the offset and tyre size. A 20 on a VT should have a 30 series tyre to keep speedo correct and clear front strut tower. The rubbing would come from the offset.
On another note make sure the load rating of the tyre is correct also
