We have just had a Kirkey one arrive from the states ordered through VPW and made to size. Took about 6 weeks to arrive.
Have had to make some brackets to adapt to std seat rails. For weight concience racers the std rails will need to have the electric motors removed, suprisingly though these arent the major weight in the rails. Now when you want to install for the track you can use existing bolt points and make life easy for yourself.
Alternatively you could make some lightweight rails to suit but for ease we used std ones, helps when two people will be driving and one has short legs........

Take your pick from any of these Jake - depends on what you want & how much you want to spend.

Surprisingly comfy actually. Takes a bit to get it set up right to suit the driver, but all good once sorted.

Leatherman, are these in all the time or do you have to change them out for on road ie are they street legal? Have been thinking about changing seats for a bit more weight saving and better fit of the harness.

A mate of mine has Kirkey alloy seats in his drag Skyline. You need to make up custom brackets, so you can mount them anywhere you like to suit your driving position. They are a very tight fit if you are a 'bigger' bloke like me.

You can buy the Kirkey seat mount brackets which fit reasonably well into a commodore although they sit a little low even at the highest setting.
The seats you can get in "Big boy" sizes (their wording) which are wider and the harness points are higher to fit taller peoples shouilder height.
Mine is actually more comfortable than the original R8 Maloo seats.
