It is a pity someone in Brisbane couldn't do a fantastic deal like that!!!!
I have one of these Carbon Fibre intakes on my VY Clubsport and imo the best looking OTRCAI, top quality product available, all one piece and no rubbing on the bonnet.
Totally recommend.:goodjob:

What sort of gains are you guy's getting on a VE?
You guy's busy next week? :)
Based on our VE Calais, around 25rwkw gain with cat back:
Std: 210
OTR + Maffless: 227
+ Catback: 235
Add extractors, diff gears and tyres and run 12.6 all day long.
And I'm sure we could find some time next week!

Hope this doesnt sound stupid, but is that an air inlet temp sensor plugged in?The carbon is an unbeleviable look!!! Do you have a rough postage price to Sydney?

No such thing as a stupid question! Yes it is an air temp sensor, early models have this already, late models have this built in to the air flow meter. When doing a mafless tune on VZ/VE a temp sensor needs to be supplied and wired in.

Hi Rob,
Probably a silly question seeing as you sell that particular OTRCAI system, but what's the difference between your system and the ORRSOM systems - if you've had a look at them. I was looking at your system but a bit hesitant due to the higher price. But I've also been told that the K&N filters can bugger up the tune as they are oiled and can make the tune run richer. Are your filters in your OTRCAI oiled?
Secondly, what are the main benefits of MAF vs MAFless? A mate told me that MAF is good cos you can make changes and the ECU can 'learn' what the new mods are and change the tune accordingly to get 'some' gains from it, eg CAI. But MAFless you can get a far better tune, but if you make any changes, you have to re-tune again as the ECU will shit it's self??
Any advice is appreciated.
Cheers,
Tock.

Without having tested the ORRSOM OTR and ours side by side its hard to comment on the non cosmetic differences. There is no problems with oiled filters as long as they are cleaned and re-oiled correctly. If over oiled they can cause problems with air flow meters although in this case there wont be one anyway!
The main benefit of a maffless tune is that it doesnt have the air flow meter to cause any restriction and allows a more direct air flow path with the OTR intake. If tuned correctly there is no downside to the maffless tune.
Another two out the door today. SNAP!

I must admit, just the look of the carbon fibre alone is starting to sway me..
It is proper CF yeah? Please tell me that it's not fully sic genuine look alike carbon fibre hehe..
Fully genuine 100% authentic real carbon fibre.

With my old otr. I just marked out an outline of the OTR onto the radiator shroud and used a fine blade on my jigsaw. A nice touch is some pinch rubber to go around the edges of the shroud where you have cut. It's easy.

Cool il hunt up a fine blade when needed.
Also does the OTR come in nude carbon(as pictured on the hpf website) or as in the pics in this thread with the gloss and hpf sticker?

They are both exactly the same finish, and the HPF sticker is optional.
