new post and search fuction not working.

It might be a stupid question, but i just got on ls1 tonight, logged in, and clicked on the 'new post' icon in the top bar which normally gives me a scroll down menu letting me choose how i would like to view new posts eg.
New Posts
New Posts
New Posts (Tech Only)
Today's Posts
Today's Posts (Tech Only)

but now it goes to that big search page with all the extra infomation. eg
Search Forums

Show Threads Show Posts
Advanced Search
Search Forums
Search by Key WordKey Word(s):

Search Entire Posts Search Titles Only
Search by User NameUser Name:

Find Posts by User Find Threads Started by User Exact name

(i copied and pasted abit of the page)
My search button is doing the same thing when before it just gave me a small scroll down menu for me to type a key word and it would search the entire forum. and when i try use the hyper-extended search page it dosn't work. I miss them! does anyone know what ive done or how i can change it back?

i had the same prob a few mths ago, dont know how or why, but i tried lots of differant things told by guys here to try and nothing seemed to work, but it may have been the next day or wheni logged in again and it was all workin again, no idea and sorry that i cant help but i hope this will relieve you a little knowing someone else had the same problem

Could try clearing out your cookies and cache??? then logon again.

You have javascript turned off in your browser. Turn it back on and the drop down mnus will work fine
