Vt gas system

hello all,,just have a question,,have a Vt gas system here,from a car that lm wrecking, gas is plated 02/08,,so ln date,, my question is,,can l have the system fitted,through a gas fitter,,pay for fitting and claim the rebate?? does any know the way it works? was told you can do that.. thanx
