Just lowered my VY Calais and my senator rims are scraping mildly. Just wondering if anyone knows anyone in Adelaide that can roll guards?? can i do it myself and do the guards need to be repainted??

Cheers Mick

I got a panelbeater to do mine thinking there was no way I'm letting some tyre shop derro near mine with a hammer etc.. However, then found out that the tyre places usually use a special machine for the job which apparently somehow heats the metal before bending it so thus reducing the chance of kinking or paint cracking.

Wish I'd known as I'm not all that happy with my job - cracked paint in a few places. Over here there are guys that come to you to do it, so probably are over there too.

Check the phone book :)

Normally someone in your local area who comes out and rolls the guards for you, costs around $100~150 for all four corners :)

Jack Baker Tyre Power in the City. They did the wifes rex a couple
of weeks back and did an excellent job, they have a machine that does
it, no hammers. Cost me just over $100 for both sides.
