View Full Version : Anyone used Metro Holden (Adelaide) recently and had this happen?

Had the car in at Metro today to fix minor power steering woes, I was pleasantly surprised to see that their service level has lifted somewhat since my last visit.... but that's not the point of this post.

The HSV service manager said one of the sales reps walked past my car, said something along the lines of "I know someone who wants one of these" and left me a note in the car to give him a ring if I am interested in trading/selling.

The cynical side of me says it's a ploy to get me talking about a new car, so my question is - have they tried this out with anyone else on the forum? If they have then my initial reaction is correct, or if no-one who uses Metro has had this happen then they are possibly on the level.

Cheers
Dan

never know, maybe worth a phone call if your interested in selling. just cause your selling your car to them or through them doesnt mean you have to buy a car from them.

If you are not in the market for an upgrade etc I would just throw the peice of paper away.

But if you want another car then might turn out ok.

I'd just give him a call to see what he's on about. Wouldn't hurt. And you never know, he may throw you an offer you can't refuse.

if it is you sv then they dont grow on trees so he might be legit. give him a call. if you can handle parting with it, at the end of the day if it is legit YOU can name your price then it is either take it or leave it.
