View Full Version : Photoshop help for my new ute

Hi everyone. I have been a member on here for a fair while now and FINALLY getting a new SS-V Ute. WOO HOO! been a long enough wait.

I live in the middle of no where and the dealer is a fair way away but he is trying to sell me a set of 20's with new tyres for $1000 extra. makes it a bit hard to just pop over to see it. They are ROH Black Hawk. Sounds tempting. I pick up the car on Tuesday and just trying to work out what they will look like before i go over.

Could someone put up a pic of a black SS with those wheels? I tried with paint without much sucess.

P.S. The car will be lowered 2 inches from standard from when I pick it up so take that into account

If they look anything like that in the real mate upload a few pics in the my ride section when you get them on! They look sic as!


P.S. You going to the Deni Ute Muster? If so ill have a squiz there mate.

2 Inches down to terra firma isnt going to have it sitting like the pic above.
Wheels do look the goods though.

Yes thats gotta be about 3inches of slam'n there, no scaling used in image as 5min job.... quick guess on 20' look too...... but SSMICKUTE now..:nyuk:.

Hey mate....no won't be there. Have my school reunion on in Byron that weekend. Would love to though!! Live just up the road from Deni and 1st time i've owned a ute! Next year though for sure.

Nope they are somthing else, definatley not blackhawks.

Got them on.

They are slightly different to the ones I thought were going on. They are 5 spoke ones not the 6 spoke like the photoshop pic.

Apparently they are the same as the VE Walkinshaw.

I've never uploaded a pic so hope they work....

Nah, the only black (non HSV) one I can see on that link has DTM Shine rims.

that hard lid looks like the original holden one, not the egr one, i wonder if they are now selling these ones again???

Yeah it is the original one. The one that they replaced it with was original too but sat up a little and warped a bit and apparently was a dodgy design. The now one looks similar but better design.

I like how this one has an ever so slight spoiler at the back and sits lower.

Apparently they are selling the Holden ones again...but I bought the car 2nd hand off a Holden dealer so they might have more access to them? God knows though????
