hi just wondering if anyone here knows where i can get a rear wing like the ones they have on the Supercars. need a place in perth supply and fitted?
and how much? and are they legal?

A quick search found this Australian LS1 and Holden Forums (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=74368) so i'd be giveing Capa a call.There's a dude on here concept350 with a vy supercar bodykit with the rear wing on his ride so maybe pm him as he may have some info.

Don't worry about the haters or those with zero suggestions or advice......you get that crap all the time mate.It's your car,your choice......i say why not and just go for it!

I think they looks 'ok' if you have the full supercar kit to go with it......

but, if you have the wing with no kit, wheels or PERFORMANCE to match it then... :(

Have a look at the GTS-R on the vr model. If you could live with that then go get one. I think Monkey warehouse do them or one similar. There is a sponsor on here that may be able to do something for you a little more subtle. No rear view and probably illegal but what is legal these days. IMO Just have the power to back it up.

No individual customization allowed, don't think about putting any HSV bumpers on it either, or changing the tail lights. It has to look as it came. only mods allowed are power, wheels and lowering. you get shot for putting chev badges on it too.
your car has to look like the other 20,000 cars driving around your area, don't make it something its not.

i say go for it, who cares what others think as long as you like it but to make it look right you would need the full kit and as there is no off the shelf kits that i no of it will be a custom kit so it would cost you heaps.

you could try new gel to make it for you but they are in canberra and they may need the car. just give them a call and see what they say.

as for painting and fitting, any panel shop can do that so thats the easy part, you just need to source the kit first.

but hell, If i could get away with driving that on the street, with the whole kit, and a rumble to match, Then Id drive that every weekend.

A while back wasnt there a mob that did pretty wild body kits for pre-vt cars, even V8 supercar wings and all sorts of plastic bits, pretty sure it was in Adelaide, not sure of the name sorry.
