the other option you have is Flickr ( http://www.flickr.com ). There is no real need to resize as you can select the image size you want to post.

Wonkey Springs seating issues (rather than flat tyre). Nothing like making dynamic spring/suspension repairs on the run whilst cruising lol. Have spanners, wire and jack will fix it all ...:jester:

Umm we just pulled off to the side to compare VE modifications and ride height handling stuff. Frig he won, I came off second best yet again :1peek:


My sorst man won't be happy, as the bottom of the Calais Scraped its guts as I came back onto the road :jester:

I genuinely didn't see the Volvo due to the big windscreen pillars of the VE which creates a troublesome blind spot. I did spot the VE Policeman but he wasn't on the roundabout as I entered it....

IMHO I took great evasive action to avoid the iminent collision with the Volvo by planting the acelerator (gawd he was close at that stage). Whoops, the Hoon laws then probably came into play at that stage!!! Hence Sirenes from the SV 6 set a blazing :confused:

I was in a lose, lose situation.

Yeh i know LS1 is mainly techo and modification advice. But i for one wouldn't mind developing a Cruise Group within SEQ, based on the fun and great folk and awesome machinery that were along on this one.

Shounds great. I had a great day until I had to bail upto wards Noosa. I said hooray on the UHF, but not sure if any one heard.

Would definately be interested in more Cruises like this one with good roads, views and a good feed.

just thought I would say yeah more then keen to come down and give my poor little girl maybe just one run, shouldnt be any slower then Ash's ute, who said you need a cam! ( or i can tell you the real story and say i got a half decent jump on him and his ute was reeling me in quite quickly in the one little WOT i gave it )

Loving all the pics guys, really is a great bunch of people. Even the mrs was that impressed that we may just have to keep the SS and get rid of her little daily. As a few of you know, or maybe not ? were gettin married shortly so the funds would come in handy, but well see!

Wel looks like plenty of interest in catching up with the gang under T&T conditions sometime soon (great to see).

Anyone got a date they would prefer. Whatever it is, I'll just work it into my diary and be there for sure.

I have done a few mid-week Time Attack events and its all really well controlled and safe - yet a hell of a lot of fun... And no risk of losing ya licance. The bit that I highlighted in yellow sounds the goods.

Rd 1 - Jan 26 | Rd 2 - Apr 5 | Rd 3 - May 24 | Rd 4 - Sep 6 | Rd 5 - Sep 20 | Rd 6 - Oct 18 | Rd 7 - Nov 29

Categories
The Series is open to road registered vehicles only and will be divided into three categories.

4 Cylinder | 6 Cylinder | 8 Cylinder
Turbo charged and/or supercharged air induction vehicles will move up by one category.

There are NO tyre restrictions. ie Slicks are permitted.


Format
All rounds of the series will be run on the QR Sprint Circuit.

3 starts at each round consisting of 1 x out lap, 5 x hot laps, 1 x in lap.

Groups will be formed by request where possible otherwise will be allocated according to previous best recorded time.


Novices with less than three Sprint rounds experience will always be in their own special group.


Where we can finish early with plenty of daylight a fourth run will be held for those who want even more time on track. Of course, there is NO CHARGE for the fourth run.

I thought that the November 27th Date may be of interest and would give people plenty of notice to everyone; and also the best chance of securing a place on the day. Probably could all get in the one group by the looks of the above speil.

Lotsa people run auto trans on sprint days; and pull very respectable times.

C'mone, it will be fun Borry, especially if we can hook a "group" gig!!!!

Its over 2 mths away, so plenty of time to prepare.

Yeh I dunno how you yungins could stand to have an "old fart" in a Luxo Daily Driver havin a crack at the circuit when you feel you and your rides are not up to it lol. Who knows, I may just meet another one of my favourite VOLVO DRIVERS on the day. Just jokin. :jester:

First up it the T&T thread/link posted hereabouts somewhere. But we really do need to get numbers and organise the Saturday Arvy Sprints pretty soon so we secure our spots on the day and get together as a group. Once you have a go, its quite adictive I can assure you!!!
