Still looks best in white and red. The black and evoke shown in those photos don't stand out enough for me.

Instead of the plain white, HSV should at least offer a metallic white. It looks far more luxurious.

Yeah agreed... It's an expensive car and should really have it. I hope they at least put a clear coat on it!

It would have been a real selling point for HSV to spout that it was a 300km/h car... and given the apparent ease at which it gets to 270km/h, it's a little disappointing that they couldn't let the limiter out. Surely it's capable of 300.

300 is a tough call in anything...........bloody tough and comes down to gearing and aero more than anything else :eek:

that extra 30kph would take a HUGE amount of effort to get to...
a 300kph commodore would be a cool thing... but difficult to achieve i reckon.

someone did it over in dubia years ago with a VX i think with a blower on it (read it in zoom i believe)... pretty amazing thing but anyway...

You did read the article didn't you? the 270 is at the "speed limiter by fuel cutoff" which means turn the speed limiter off and the W427 WILL go faster.
