Hi all,
With the news that my VX is going to be repaired I would like to have some body mods done while it's in the repair shop. I have some particular ones up my sleeve but also some ones I'd like some opinions on.

I am very keen on a boot lip, to sharpen the look of the boot without losing the "spoilerless" sleekness of it. I found this jobbie on Ebay:

But I can't remember any HSV VT-VX sedan having a boot lip like that. I know the HSV coupes did but it's not the same one as that either, and they don't fit a sedan anyway. Does anyone know where it might be from?
Aside from that, I may end up making my own anyway... could be as good a time as any to get some fibre glassing skills mwahahahaaa.

Also, does anyone know where I could get a HBD bodykit to suit it (aside from Holden?)

Cheers all

The only HSV vt-vx with a sleek spoiler like that that i can think of would be the Senator (VX only i believe). It would be the only spoiler i'd fit to a VT/VX as it compliments the lines nicely.

It doesn't seem to be fat enough to be a senator spoiler... I know there were some fitted to the occasional acclaim, etc, but they were particularly weedy and I wouldn't put one of them on it. I think this one might be one of them.

Toddler, I know where you're coming from, but I'm throwing away money if I have to pay my massive excess, set of tyres, and two rims I'll have to buy, then sell it straight away. I'm going to have to hold onto it at least long enough to save up for what I want to replace it, so I'll probably be with it still for at least 6 months. And hey, if it drives fine and doesn't wear out tyres like a posessed VN hoon driver, then I'm happy and I may as well save more for an SS or a VE

Big V,
Try JHP in Melbourne as they have a lot of old HBD stock.
Good luck with the repiars.
Cheers

The repairer has offered me an SS front clip and sideskirts for too good a price to refuse :) and I have chosen replacement wheels (the Stalkers no longer being manufactured :( ) that I'll shop on and put up tonight.
I might try for an S or SS rear bar or HBD clip if I can find one at a decent price.

More plans (nothing too lairy or silly) in the pipeline. Still stuck on the bobtail spoiler idea...

I'm guessing it's off a coupe but you really can't tell how deep it is.
Alternatively it could be one of these...
