Just wanted to know is there a big difference between Street Slicks And Drag Slicks when taking your car down the strip?

i think unless you have big HP you will find the ET street radials will do the job just nicely.

i took my statesman to the drags with federal 595 rs type tyres on the rear, i did a burn out, but not a huge one the tyres had 20psi in them. they didnt get 100% traction on the launch so i got off the accelerator then back on and they got traction.
next time i go back i will be runnin "mt" ET Street Radial

dont know about that. i dont launch at 7000. i have a A4 but i can tell you Markone2 has been doing some amazing stuff on radials. i would try the radials first then if you find you are still having problems it might be time for slicks.

manual's are harder on the tyres thats for sure...
but if its auto the drag radials are great things... i love mine!!!

the best bit is you don't have to buy a second set of front wheels and a pair of tyres either... no need to run "front runners" with drag radials. so if you're on a tighter budget that won't stretch to buying four wheels and tyres then they're a great option...

markone2 has done 1.4 second sixty footers on them...

even with slicks you can have traction problems if the track is not prepped etc.

I went to the track here in perth last night on slicks and with 3000rpm launches was running 1.6-1.7 60's. but the car was sliding around majorly towards half track. quite a few times i had to back off the throttle to stop myself entering the other lane or hitting the wall.

that shit gets your heart going.
