Hi, I have just had a Hayman Reece 2100kg fitted to my VE SS Sedan and it cost $750 all up including wiring, opposed to $1300+ quoted by Holden!

Not sure if I am able to post pics yet!

G'Day mate. Can you put a few pics up of your utes rear end.

I sorted my ute with a custom fit. Not your model. But might be able to shed some light on the subject.

Ok had a look. Nice Ute you got there. You cant mod a tow bar by law.( change it in any way.) But you can mod your fit. I have a VZ Maloo R8 and needed a tow bar for work use.I wanted to tow a boat every now and then. And for work i need to carry around 22" ladders, soI have a custom T - Bar welded to a toung that can be fitted by sliding into the hidden tow bar housing. and another for the boat.
I wanted to fit this tow bar so that i could take the toung on and off the ute, leaving the back looking stock. Not Chopped !! With a bit of lateral thinking I figured, if I can get some spacers made up to spec. I could fit the tow bar lower. This allowed me to cut the hole I needed to fit toung through much lower, leaving it unseen.

Your options are 1 - To have a fixed long toung hanging out the back from underneath your ute. A standerd fit. ( no chopping the back. But looks naff )
2 - Just get a box toung. And chop the back if your happy to.
3 - or try my approach
In the end, you may not be able to do what I have done being different models/rear end.. I guess the less you have to chop your ute the better.

Good Luck Mate..

Luke.
