Pretty sure you should be looking at a permit to store aswell.
Also look into your home insurance implications - from memory anything more than a small tin or two for mower/whippersnipper etc may have houseold insurance issues.

Look in Yellow pages under recyclers. I know there is one in the Cranbourne, Frankston area which sells all sizes of containers.

You can buy additives to stop fuel from going off for ages.

But additives won't stop it evaporating.

Go to a Drum exchange / Recycler. Or visit some automotive workshops, they would have some empties lying around (eg, Castrol, Valvoline, 205 ltr steel oil drums)
As for the pump, Rotary hand crank type, You would have to buy it separate, Alemite, McNaught, etc do them.

Isnt it funny how if you 'store' an amount of fuel you need a permit blah blah but you can park two ( or more ) cars in a garage with full tanks with no worries?:1peek::confused::rofl:
