Hi All,

The inside of my fuel cap has a sticker saying "Ethanol (E10) fuel suitable" on it.
What does this actually mean? Can I just switch to E10 without retuning ?
If so, how does it compare to Ultimate98 and where is it sold in Perth?

Cheers

it means that Yes you can run your car on E10 without a tune,
It is as far as i know, premium made up out of 10% ethanol,
Should be just as good as Ultimate but i found that i used extra,
Sold at united servos down in Victoria so i assume the same over there?

I thought United's 98 was 10% ethanol. Isn't that why it's usually cheaper than the others?

Correct, united boost 98 is a 10% ethanol mix fuel, it's good and I'd use it but the closest servo that sells it to me is Castle hill.

I thought so, but the funny thing is, I asked one of the workers there one day if it had ethanol in it and she had no idea what I was talking about. Also, there isn't anything anywhere that says it has ethanol in it. I thought they had to have signs etc. to make you aware that it has ethanol in it?

It usually does have it all over the pump, and on the hose, they might be selling dodgy shit, beware.
