This might be a silly question. I have a VE R8 running GTS rims and standard RE050 tires. I am going to change to FK452's but should I go for the 285/30/20 to give it a bit more traction or stay with the 275 30/20's? The car has an extra 50KW running through the rear wheels due to misc mods.

I'm running FK452's in 285 width on 2 different sets of GTS rims (rears), they are perfect. The 245's are spot on for the front, don't go wider with them. This pic is FK452's front and rear, 245 front + 285 rear.

Like Nick im also running the 285 Falken 452's.
Falken are by nature a little narrower than say a Bridgestone or a Michelin.
