View Full Version : Need opinions (wheels, pic of car included with wheels)

Hi All,

I was thinking about getting some wheels and can't decide between 19's and 20's but I can't get past the first step which is the style of rim. I was hoping you all might be able to help me chose and get a general opinion (like everybody I want my ride envied :bow: :))
I was going through the BBS website and they have a cool feature which allows you to up load a pic of your car. Please let me know what you think....

AirIAI in chrome (might look better in the flesh but I think the lighting makes the photo look off?

AirIAI in polished black (really leaning towards these, just not sure against the orange if it will make the car look dirty but in my opinion on this photo they look Sh&t HOT!

AirIAI look the best to me too, BUT, I am a big fan of the VX GTS wheels on VT/VX cars.

yer there is a vt ss same colour as yours over here in adelaide and its looks nuts with the ve gts 20s on it....

Simmons FR19's FTW!

To be honest though, I don't think the gold centres would suit your car, but the silver, grey or black centres would.

CH in black gets my vote. I was seriously thinking about repainting my VT GTS 17s in matt black. It's a great look.

You can't go past VX GTS rims, I just got rid of mine and put Black FR19's on the clubbie. I personally think these are the best 2 types of rims you can get.

I wouldn't personally go for aftermarket wheels(width and offset wise they are quite weak) Id go HSV, maybe VX GTO 18", or even VY GTS in 19". VE GTS 20x9.5" would be nice. Id go CH in black or silver out of those though.

I vote for the CH2's. I think they'd look the goods. I have 19's atm, and I kinda wish I had 18's, as I cant slam it anymore :bawl: The wheels you have on it at the moment are awesome though. I almost bought a set when I had my VX berlina. Either way, slam it and it'll look awes!
