Looking for my brother.

Has to be a manual.

Right now just looking in WA area as it could be too much hassle to get one from over state.

Anyone know of any around that are decent? (not 130,000+kms)

Damn, why can't you live in Qld! I have a silver 2003 VY SV8, 6 speed for sale. Full Holden dealer service history, well maintained, washed/cleaned regularly, pacemaker extractors with full twin 2.5" system. It does have 130,000 on it, but its mechanically A1. Looking for $17,000, but pretty negitiable on that. Reason for selling - I now have a CV8R as well and 2
LS1's is just too much of a fuel bill! :bawl: If you get no luck in WA, let me know!

I got a mate with a Vy SV8 with senator clubby kit and 20's on it , done 80km , needs a tidy up .But its an auto but he would take $10k for it!!!

Cheers VK but few too many kms for his liking.. Sounds like a nice buy though and your brother shouldnt have too much trouble selling

He has decided to sell his 250 and has been working every weekend (saturday and sunday) for a few months now and his budget has been upped to 22-24k....

Still only looking at WA at the moment... Anyone else know of nice low kms cars in WA in the new price range? We have found a 80 000km VX R8 manual for 24... Could be a go er unless something nicer or modified comes along...

I dont see why your bothered about the high km's.

My own ute (VY) would be past 130K km's. Yet it still looks new (minus a few dings in the tailgate).

Infact my old man just got a white vu ss ute with 230K km's on it. We've just dropped a low 30K km motor into with a cam and it's gone in for a gas conversion today.

All up cost of about 15K including replacing the engine.

its not so much myself or him that is worried about high kms... I agree that if the car is in great condition then disregard the kms. You can find mint cars with low kms and you can find wrecked dogs with low kms


Its mainly the parents at this point... They are a bit old fashioned.. I guess they are worried because they dont want him to buy something that is past its prime... There belief is that low kms = reliable and looked after...
