Hey guys,
just wondering if anyone knows if i can buy a VE Calais V spoiler thru holden, the little bobtail one, our V8 doesnt have one but i would like one!
Also where to get the original calais V wheels instead of the poxy 17s?
Any help much appreciated.

http://holmart.com.au/online/category42_1.htm - see G8 spoiler kit (same as Calais V). They will be much cheaper than buying from a dealer!!
For the rims check out Holmart's wheels and also Wheel King (www.wheelking.com.au - also a sponsor).

Yeh I saw one on the back of a Calais at the Dealer the other day - from memory it was $250 for the spoiler then you had to get it painted.
Do you have to drill any holes into boot for spoiler or is it held on with the double sided tape??
Thanks..

See http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1203939&highlight=spoiler#post1203939 (needs two holes).
Thanks for the link..
With a VE Calais that has not had a spoiler do you just use tape and clips on spoiler or do you have to drill and bolt it??
Some of the add's for the spoiler's save 5 minute job no tools needed?
Would the tape alone be enough to hold it on??
Thanks..

There are definitely holes in the Calais V bootlid.
Some people just say "5 minute job" to get a quick sale, whereas others tell the truth.

I would not use double sided tape. In fact I would have a dealer or panel shop fit it for you.
