Hello, I'm new to this site and just thought I'd post my wagon..

Model: VX Executive
Colour: Before Quicksilver.. Now Raven
Bodykit: VX SS front bar
Engine Type: 5.7ltr V8
Engine Mods: SS induction cold air intake, HSV MAF pipe
Exhaust: Full exhaust..
Gearbox: 6spd Manual
Brakes: Stock
Suspension: Stock.. Gettin lowered soon
Wheels/Tyres:18" chrome BSA
Other Mods:LSD diff
Stereo:Stock at the moment

I've always loved the VX SS and wagons but seeing as tho holden didn't make a VX SS wagon I've decided to make one of my own.

I'm going to get the wagon lowered and install my SS fog lights within the next month.

better once lowered :)
Did you get a complete respray, ie including engine bay, door jams etc?
Must have set you back a bit, especially being a colour change?

Looks great in both colours actually. :) A manual LS1 wagon is a rare beast.

Now get ready to keep spending money after spending time on this site. There is a lot of good information but speed costs :bawl:

Looks very nice , but lose the SS Reductions intake .

Thanks Guys..

The missus and I painted the inside of the doors, tailgate and enigine bay ourselves and the missus painted the headlights, I'm mates with the dude who did the respray so it wasn't too costly..

Lookin at spending quite a bit on the wagon tho, I will be getting a charger and an LS1 edit.. one day..

The SS induction came with the wagon, haven't really bothered with the engine so far..

Very nice, good job. Going to all that trouble though I would have also put on the SS wagon sills.

Yea, would have liked to but using the left over cash (there isn't too much of that..:bawl:) to install a system, bigger diff gears and getting it lowered..

Nice ride mate! How much was the respray? It's on the cards for my car should the professional detail I'm getting in a few weeks not rectify the problems my paint has!

I got mates rates but still saved myself 2k by painting the door jams, inside of the tail gate and engine bay myself.. I think you'll be looking at about 5-6k for the full respary.. If you are going to get it sprayed the same colour as it already is you won't have to worry about door jams and stuff..

Put some fuel in mine this weekend and noticed that I forgot to paint the inside of my fuel hatch..:vpo:

Saw this on Streetwagons. Nice car. Ditch the blue parkers.. Look a bit gay but apart from that it looks nice.

Thanks.. I like the blue parkers.. Will look better once it's finished, I'm going for a black/blue theme with this wagon, will be doing a total colour change on the interior as well in black/blue.. not 100% sure if I will be keeping the plates red..
