VZ engine cover LS1

does the VZ 2 piece engine cover bolt straight onto the VXII or is it mounted differently?

You can get 2 types of 2 piece covers but you can easily put the VZ ones on. They are only plastic with no screw mounts. You just gotta undo the rails on the top that the turtle shell normally screws onto. The VZ covers are pushed down and just clip on. Easy job.

I had to modify mine on the drivers side the accomodate the
cruise control cable, other than that, no problems.
