new exhaust

hey guys ive got an 03 monaro cv8 an just had my exhaust done, its got pacemaker tri Y's, hi-flow cats and a twin 2.5'' exhaust all the way through (no cross's or joins) to a rear muffler.. the thing that i noticed is that it has been press bend :( and also i was just wondering if i should be running any resonators to get a better sound? or running two mufflers instead of the one?? just questions on it, i mean it sound sweet but sometimes it has a little pingin wierd sound.. dont know if its cos of the press bends or 1 muffler... im not to sure, and later on i will probably change exhaust from cats back to mandrel bends.. also i dnt know if anyone has got any second hand mandrel bent exhausts do they haha?? any help would be much appreciated. cheers matt.:)

Gday mate,
If the pinging noise is from engine = Bad news
If the pinging noise from exhaust= Fixable.
If the engine is timed wrong ie Pinging you would want to get that looked at asap.
Other than that mandrell bent is way to go less restriction and better flow.

oh ok sorry i may have explained it wrong, for example i hear my mates ls1's n they seem to have a more lumpier idle and take off where is mine is sort of one note ish until its up in the higher revs. im thinking it might make it better if i put 2 resonators in the middle of my exhaust flowing out to the one muffler, or i should put two muffler on an take out the rear muffler or leave it as is an put an extra two mufflers on??? cheers

i have hitec tri-ys, high flow cats & x-force 2.5" catback with two centre mufflers & resonator at the back & it growls like hell lol

If you want some decent noise get high flow cats and maybe look at changing the rear cans.
