Transmission Selector Light

Hey all...
Before I call the dealer....
Does anyone know if the Transmission Selector light on the MY09 Calais has been removed? Just picked our 60th Anniversary Calais V and took it out lastnight for a drive and noticed the light down where the selector is is not lit? the strip where PRND is located it not lit up... The + and - for the Active select is lit and the windows switches etc... But not to advise what gear is in use.

Or could it be a fault bulb or something? Help!!!

I believe their have been a few cases of faulty bulbs under the shifters.

Ring up your dealer and tell him the problem, if they've had a few of these they'll know what to do. The bulb is a "Special" one, and may have to be ordered in.

Shouldnt take too long for them to fix it either.

My light has stopped working in my VZ SS. Is this something simple I can replace or am I best to take it to a shop and get done? If it's an easy DIY how do I get to the light? Do I need to remove the centre console or can I get to it via the side panel in the centre console?
