Hi all,
Cant sell the clubby so Im going to start raping it!! LOL....
First thing I want to do is replace the shifter and handbrake with a VY item. I have seen the shifter tutorial on here but is there anything on the handbrake. Can I just buy a VY handbrake "cover" and swap em??
Also will a VY wheel fit into it, and still retain the stereo controls??
Cheers peeps..

As you already know the VY shifter will fit no probs, the handbrake is the same although if you go chrome or satin chrome you will also need to do the button on the end.
As for the steering controls, electronically they will work fine, not 100% sure if the connectors are the same but you will be able to adapt them successfully.

VY steering wheel will fit with no air bag issues. From memory you'll need to modify the steering wheel controls wiring slightly to get it to work with the VX Eurovox head units. There's an excellent guide in the How To forum at SC:

Yes, a few members have done the steering wheel conversion on these forums (search). Or check out streetcommodores as above.

shifter and steering wheel will work.
but for the handbrake, only going by what i've read on this forum its not just slip on the handbrake cover.
you have to use the actual handbrake thats inside the cover from a vy.

It can be done easy peasy, the only thing with the hand brake is that it is not that tidy around the base, due to the rubber boot being a different shape, but the seat covers this up & it cant be seen. Grab a whole hand brake, not just the cover, just undo 1 & do the other up. It can be done with the drivers seat in the car. The Gear stick is another easy thing to change. Check out my pic below for the gear stick/handbrake change.

Another thing I did in the SS was replace my door trims/glovebox/centre console bits with a set out of a Senator. They have the suede on them & make it look a heap better. Another easy job to do.
Good luck with it all,
Cheers
