Damage Details
Entire Vehicle - Heavy Rollover

Heavy alright, I'd say if the car was in the Olympics it would of won a diving medal... and I'd buy a lotto ticket if I walked away from that one!

Looks like the roof has been cut off .

Wtf could you salvage from that , perhaps a coupple of wheel nuts , engine cover and the muffler , at a guess $20 worth of bits  wouldent have been worth dragging it to the pickles yard .

Probably cut the roof off to get whoever was in there out.

This was probably one of the cars that were stolen from the ingleburn holding yard a couple of weeks ago, (I think it was the Ingleburn yard)

How much do you think the GTS will go for?? Would it be much of a sving over buying new??

Its got a couple nice deep straches in it.

That crushed commodore looks as if something fell on it but only on half of the vehicle.

Cant believe no one has posted the dumbass "that'll buff right out" comment.

Anyway, that'll buff right out.

That GTS looks pretty good though. Those scratches will just buff right out.

It says that that GTS is stolen and recovered. Does that mean it's able to be registered or is it only a parts car now? Some light panel work on the roof and you'd have a cheap GTS.....

WoW!!! It's got Aircon and Power Steering!!!
But unfortunately it's unregistered, so you're not allowed to drive it home :jester:

The way it's flatened looks like a truck has tipped over and landed on it

I was told by NRMA that you couldn't steal them. You needed the key because of the complex imobilisor. My SS came with the factory GPS tracking system. Maybe it was a car-jacking

You can steal them, as long as you have the key which you have to steal first. Or I guess you could tow it away. No keys needed.

Is there anything salvagable at all?

Teh one for auction has has a roof flap rescue done which makes it look a lot worse. You can see the cut in the A pillar and the windscreen has been cut by a recripricating saw

wonder what the story is with the GTS....what a hot car. Maybe a junior mechanic couldn't help himself .....

Well, given that the GTS has 60km showing on the odo, has no plates, no rego sticker, hasn't had the fuel usage sticker removed, generally looks brand spankers, i'm tipping that it was pinched from a dealership, or pre delivery at some point in time, and could simply not be sold as a 'new' car anymore.

I dare say that if it's sold at an auction, it wouldn't have a new car warranty. Anyone shed any light on this opinion?

I wonder what the insurance payout on a new car is if it's never been sold?

Faaaaaarout! There really isn't a straight panel on the thing. Seriously the front badge might be straight enough to salvage but there isn't much on that, inside or out, that would be useful anymore...
