Ah yes those cars were issued to dealerships for test track days. All the apprentices, office staff, tea ladies and any family members went to the track to give the car a good test.

Field campaigns are recalls. It means there was a potential issue issue found with some vehicles in your model, so they generated a field campaign to check the other cars of the same model for the fault. The sticker shows that dealer and other that your car has been checked and either cleared or fixed.
There have been a few recalls for things like rubbing wear on seatbelt webbing, fuel sender in the VX's, a fuel line in the engine bay on the VE's etc.

I looked up the recalls for 2004, and came up with these:
http://www.recalls.gov.au/view_recall_detail.php?Recall_ID_Auto=13185

Dealer code 904 is the dealer that did the campaign. You would need the campaign number. ??-h-?? or ??-cs-??. If you have that info i can find out what campaign it was.
