VZ SS with cam

hey everyone just wondering if anyone with cams in there car has trouble with the car starting when hot with mine i have too give it a bit of throttle to get it going plus it backfires when i put my foot down at low rpm's any help would be great cheers

It shouldnt do that it need the tune looked over

If the install is correct, then I'd reckon it is a tune issue. Hot re-start with cammed cars can be an issue if the tune isn't spot-on. The 'back-firing' at low revs may be a timing issue, perhaps too much timing for those areas.

I'd be getting the tune looked at to sort the problem out.

You could also check that the leads are on your spark plugs properly.
I had a similar sounding problem to this recently, and 3 of the leads weren't secured tightly.
