Hi,
I am just new to this forum and have seen some crazy prices for a lot of Aussie muscle cars lately, but what is the going rates for the early Brock HDT cars? VC. VH. and VK etc
Is there much difference between the group 1, 2, and 3 VH SS?
thanks in advance.
PS; Any ideas on prices from average to good versions?

Jason,
Re VC's their are 3 colours Black is the rarest only around 69 out of 500 where Black, White and Red where divided about 50/50 and their where about 50/50 in Auto v Manauls as well. They range in price from $30k to $100k depending on condition colour and Manual is the most sought after. But their are projects out their for less.

VH Grp I & II are the most basic normally 4.2 V8 but some did have 5.0 Lt and once again depending on condition etc etc $20-$30k.

Grp III are the most sought after $30 - $70k for good examples.

Their are also VH ADP and other models.

VK's ran from 84 to 86 and their are alot of different models and prices range depending on model, condition, colours etc etc.

What are you looking for and how much are you wanting to spend?

zaczac--That is a very broad question you're asking.
You will find many many different opinions, some totally unrealistic, on this & other forums.
Values can be talked up or down for varying reasons.
My best advice to you would be to do a bit of reading on HDT (Brock) Commodores, then visit a few car shows where Brock cars are displayed, & try to decide which model you would like to own.
Then, start looking around at the prices of the model you have decided upon.
Don't believe ANYONE, unless you know them personally--make up your mind on solid info that YOU have obtained--& wait until you are sure of your FACTS,(not somebody elses "myths & hearsay!), & you will be on your way.
Actual values in these times are very hard to determine--I've seen VL Group As advertised for $90K, & I've also seen good ones for $50K.
So, all I'm saying to you is "DO YOUR HOMEWORK"!
Good luck.
Cheers, Pickles.
