Well we had a ball at the Creek tonight. I arrived and ran the usual 12.2 @ 113mph 3 times in a row. Then along came Al (ssgen3) with a more than impressive 12.01 @ 117mph.
He almost got it. :)
A quick phone call to Sam, with Al and I exited about his big mph and Sam suggested I run the new special prototype air box that Al and Charlie from CMS Racing had made. Al agreed so we quickly bolted it in before my next pass.
I ran 11.937 @ 115.35mph. All on cat12z bottom end, my home made heads and CMS's bloody wiz bang box.
Thanks Al. :D

It's a shame Al had a diff problem on the next run, cause I reckon he was headed for an easy 11 @ 118mph with the nights air getting cooler. Next time Al.

Great one Pete, and Al.
Well i get and email today, from WSID for the people who don't know Western Sydney International Dragway.
Anyway who want the best time slip you can get from WSID for you car, as i will be charged of the timing equipment, and be trained on a fairly high tech, all computer driven timing equipment, with lots of features not seen at any other track in Australia.
I will be team leader of operators for this system, there are varoius ways in which the system is to be operated for the various categories of racing are appropriately activated.
Also the track we be covered by the internet at every meeting, including with fully TV coverage world wide, TV room.
Volunteer and officals, etc will be meeting in the next coming weeks, so we can get the ball rolling once the big day comes.
If you go to the web site there is some new photo's.
Cheers Drew
