Hey guys, just been having a bit of a problem with the VE central locking system..
For some reason (and the battery in the remote is not low or dead!), the remote locking buttons do not work, except for when entered in the door and turned.
If the key is entered in the door and turned to unlock the car, the remote locking buttons will then work for about 1-2 minutes. After this time, the remote won't work (and it's a specific timer, it doesn't just choose when it doesn't want to work).
So in summary:
- Remote locking buttons do not work.
- They do work when inserted in the door, but only for 2 minutes.
- I'm not sure what's going on?
Maybe by entering the key in the door on previous occasions has disabled the remote locking? This problem only started happening when I decided to open it manually one day, but I've never had this problem apart from that.
Any help would be appreciated guys :)
