Hi, i have some light scratches on my tail lights, and i was wondering if you can polish them out, or any other methods to remove them? I just don't want to ruin the light by marking it with polish etc....
thanks.

Depends on how deep, but yeah they can be cut out the same as scratches in your paintwork.

Do i need a particular type of polish, so i do not mark the lights (thinking in the same sense as paint polish on black rubber).

It depends on how deep the scratches are as to if they can be repaired. If they are mild to moderate I would say yes. If they are very deep, then they can be made to look better.
I purchased Kit #2 from this company and had some fantastic results.

I'm sure you could find something very similar there.
I have polished both headlights and tail lights.

I don't have any tail light pics, but I think this gets the point across.
Cheers,

No. If the scratches need to be sanded out you just keep using finer sandpaper 800 -1500 - 2000 - 3000 etc. In the end you can just hand cut it then hand polish it.
