guys with harrop blowers HOW often do you have to optimize your tunes to keep it running sweet ?

just wondering if you have re tune very often as it a long way to do that for me

Atomic,

I found myself in the same boat living in Mt Isa, currently fitting my harrop and no one around for at least 1000km who knows what they are doing. Thats why I am getting my own copy of EFI Live and get oztrack to remotely tune the car.

I can monitor what is happening and log as well, send the info to oztrack and he can keep and eye on things and remotely touch up if necessary.

Its alot more convenient than having to drive thousands of km's just for a tune. Plus as a bonus you will learn what is happening tune wise with your car.

Well thats what suited me anyways. Would be interesting to find out if touch up tunes are necessary though ??? I would imagine once the tune is done though it should be fine for a long time ???

The biggest problem i see is belt slip so keep an eye on boost pressure , and if the tunes been developed for seasonal changes it should change afr / spark with conditions of the day , if your wanting every last KW throughout the year get some software and a wideband 02 sensor and start logging data

Just fit a new belt if its slipping , most people run the 80mm pulley and the 6PK2210 belt
