Hi Guys,

how much would i be looking at to change an engine mount? and also if i had a block n tackle would it be simple enough for me to do myself?

on mine i undid the top and bottom nuts on the mount, then with the car up on jackstands placed a flat block of wood on the sump and jacked the motor up. This was so close to working but just not enough, could be because of my engine mods though. So my next step was to remove the three bolts holding the engine mount bracket to the block and taking off the bracket, not overly hard and wish i'd done it this way from the start, remove the mounts from under the car, this took a bit of twisting and turning to weave them out but again nothing to difficult.
With after market mounts check the little locating pins on the mounts when you go to reinstall you may find they are not the same. Had to chop mine to make it work you will see what i mean if you go aftermarket.

after market were around $100 each i think
