What speeds were you doing over the top? looked pretty quick

never got out of 3rd, back to 2nd through the cutting.

wasn't watching speedo but by the sound prob 130-140

you just can't see the track, don't know how often I have seen it on TV but doing it was so different.

With another 10 runs I reckon I could have been about 4-5secs quicker than that run. My 4th run was 1.5 secs quicker than that one but had camera issues. I filmed the trees at high speed - sounds good though.

My heart was in my throat by the end of each run..

that looks a whole lot more fun than the reverse direction one I ran in a few weeks back for the AHC. From forest elbow to McPhilamy. Much shorter run.
Which club was that through? I'd be keen to give it a go!

you got sum big balls mate ive driven it at the speed limit with the cruise on and had some fun except when farmer brown comes driving around the track the oppersite way! You really have alot of respect for the v8 drivers after driving around that track it looks ahell of alot wider on tv then it dose in real life

Bathurst Light Car Club will be doing it again in May next year.. Lets get some more commodores there.

On an interesting note, apparently there is a 6 litre limit on engine size with blowers and turbos being multiplied by 1.6.
I think this is a paper rule but its worth checking out if your gonna bring a blown toy. Otherwise if its a stroker just don't tell em.

I just couldnt get the kink - into forrest elbow right at all :(
I lost about 1-2 seconds there - watching my vid - I cringe now haha
