BTW, you shoud have gone to City Custom Exhaust before buying the x-force, the guys there are awesome..

When you say "they reckon" it's too loud. Did the use a DB meter to see how many decibels it is, or are they just assuming by ear?

Fair enough, perhaps you should have transferred it 1st, then installed the x-force... Shoud ask if anyone has a standard zorst (i do, Sedan thoe) to put on for the rego check, then put the x-force back on afterwards...

Good advice. Maybe the place you had fit the X Force system still has your old one sitting around?

nah they chucked it away. Take the standard mufflers to an exhaust place and ask them.. I dont think anyone here would have ever thought, nor wanted to put the standard mufflers on an after market exhaust... but i could be wrong.
And if there is anyone who did, id like to know why.....

Did you take it to RUS in Dickson or an independant mechanic..??
I know people prefer to take their roadworthy to an independant inspection mechanic as they are not as anal as those retards who have been there for the last 35 years and get you on every little thing.. If your suspension is too low by .5 of a millimetre, they will fail you... They are the biggest wankers. !!

Do you mean too low on height between the road and the body/suspension components/exhaust (<100mm), or too low on the 'eye brow' height (distance between hub centre ans top of guard)?
