Hey guys,
Eagerly awaiting my SS to be delivered. The first thing I would like to do is put the SSV tail lights onto the car, prefer the clear ones and gives it a bit of a better look at the standard ones seem to look the same as the ones on the omega.
A couple of questions,
Part Numbers? what are they for the L/H and R/H SSV Tail light?
I'm taking a wild guess here, guess you just unscrew them and disconnect the wiring and then remove the original tail light and then place the new tail light and screw it back in place and connect the wiring?
When buying the lights do they come with bulbs etc or do you have to use the ones from the original tail light?
Also are the SSV tail lights LED? (if it comes with the bulbs)
If someone can explain how to do it, it'd be much appreciated :)
Cheers,

It's all pretty easy mate. The SSV lights are not LED, they are the same as your lights, only with clear lenses. The globes are normal. Not sure of the part numbers, but yeah they just have 3 nuts holding them in place with some sticky rubber padding. Disconnect the wiring, remove nuts, remove old lights and replace. Took me all of 30mins to do to mine.
Cheers,
Andrew

Did you buy them from someone else and then decide not to fit them to your SS? Bloody good price for SSV tail lights! :yup:

Holmart have them at $162 each, which is a lot cheaper than a dealer will charge you!

It's inside the console in my clubby, I'm assuming it would be the same for all VEs
