IMO that sort of bike is a bit of a pain these days unless you want to just use it for track days.

Are you a big fella, if so they can be a gutless unless your ringing the neck out of it. Do you have a full licence?

Two strokes are fun... But there are better options! On the flip side they are cheap to rebuild!

I say do it mate. I rode one the other day and if you keep it in the power band it's a total blast! Also I'd say the RS is one of the best handling bikes money can buy.

Go for it but definitely take it to a track, you'll have tons more fun. I used to race a Suzuki RGV when they were still plentiful, and the Aprillia definitely had the edge on handling. Great engines though, heaps of fun & cheap. For road riding you'd probably only want to be in the saddle for 1 hour max, they're very uncomfortable on the rough roads that are twisty enough to enjoy.

Cheers.

Hey mate they are a bit yes and no for road use, i have an RGV250 the power is like a motorcross bike have to keep it near the redline, will depend on your riding style not much on the gas down low tho.

As said above, theyre ok as long as you keep it in band.
Good little track bike, but not much fun if your over 6' and/or weigh more than 80kg's.
