I've been thinking about getting back on a bike after a 10year spell.
Been looking at the GSX-R750 & run out model K8 is advertised at $12990 + on road costs & govt charges..The GSX-R600 is $11490 + onroad..
Anyone know what on road costs & govt charges would amount to as these seem like good deals ?

Rough calculation about 4% stamp duty is over $500 on $13k plus your rego and compulsory 3rd party say about another $700. Based the numbers on SA but I assume they would be similar in NSW

BTW that's a pretty good price for a new GSX-R750

Yeah I'd be going for the seven fiddy...great bike. Looks like a good price too; ;You'll get bored with the 600 after a while. Unless you're going to do trackdays in which case you'll never get bored!

Apparently can only get these prices in qld :(
If I go for a 1000 will probably go for the VTR1000 ..

Honda stopped making it or I'd probably have one now instead of the B-King.

I rode the VTR1000F Firestorm a couple of times when i was looking at bikes back in 2000 and went for the CBR900 (a 99 run-out model) the VTR just didn't seem to do anything when you hit the throttle .
Your BKing would obliterate the VTR in every possible way.
