can someone please let me know average prices on the following parts

Hi All,

Does anyone know the prices on the following parts?

ls1 vy v8 engine mounts

vy v8 front discs + rear discs

pads for front and back

4 x disc machining

rear shocks


mechanic has quoted over $2200 for the above - new discs as he said he will machine them.

Vy V8 engine mounts are around $100~$120 each(its in the part thread)

Stock VY rotors can be bought for around $450 for a set from DBA or even Holmart sell them. If the current ones are currently below minimum thickness or machining them will take them below min thickness, then they are to be scraped. Brake pads around $150 for a set of good pads.

Rear shocks are around $180 for a set of KYB rears.

All up thats around $1100 in parts at retail prices. About 8~10 hours worth of labour as the engine mounts are a bastard to replace. So depending on the labour rate, that quote may be quite accurate.
